Do you use AI generated content on this website?

Sparingly, I neither have the artistic skill nor budget to hire anyone at the minute, so the featured blog banner images are designed using AI. I have transitioned away from using AI art on featured images, though some old images still remain.

Text wise - In lieu of having an editor, I sometimes run my content through AI to spot errors or help me reform a sentence if I’m not happy with it.

To be quite clear though - I do not have AI write articles for me. I hope that much is obvious from the human tone I go to great lengths to maintain.

It varies. I used to religiously stick to every Wednesday, but sometimes I just don’t have anything valuable to say, and we might be waiting a couple of weeks for inspiration to strike.

Firstly, this is just a hobby for me really. I have a day job.

In addition to that, Domain of Many Things accepts donations via Paypal from generous readers but no one ever does that haha, so I also make use of affiliate links to commercial websites both within the website’s and mailer’s content. Neither of these result in any extra charges for the reader, but any sales from these affiliate links will result in a small kickback to me.

I love it when folks do this, get in touch and let’s see what we can do.

Be aware though, I might not have time to review your thing to the detail that you would like, or even at all. Especially if it’s massive!

Also, if after consuming it, I genuinely don’t like your indie thing or I’m not inspired by it, rather than use my platform to put your hard work in the gutter, I’d rather just not say anything about it at all. That’s a mark of respect to you, your hard work, and your potential to one day make something that I will like.

Mainly because this is my platform for talking about things that bring me joy. That’s not to say I don’t have political opinions - just ask my wife.
